New Orleans baby!!! Here
we come!!!
It
took almost 6 hours from Memphis,
but we are now going to rest in a very nice hotel the Marriott Courtyard! I am
very very happy with this choice, it costs a little bit more, but it is on the
perfect spot, right in the heart of the French Quarter, but just a
little bit hidden in Iberville street, so that you don’t have to hear all the noise if
you don’t want to :-)
For dinner we have chosen the famous Acme Oyster, the queue is very long...
As you can see we have had the New Orleans Medley: Gumbo, which is a soup with chicken, shrimps, sausages and rice, the jambalaya, which is red rice with chicken, sausages and shrimps and red rice and sausages.
And now a nice walk on Bourbon Street, the most famous in New Orleans, where everything can happen
Well I will see you tomorrow, we are going to visit Laura's plantation in the morning and in the afternoon a tour of the city!
