Charleston

And here we are in Charleston, South Caroline, actually only for the morning, in the afternoon we will be leaving for Savannah. Below few pictures from Charleston, the main street is called King Street, here you can find shops, restaurants and Pottery Barn :-)

Lunch time at Hominy Grill, as advised by Eye Witness, my favorite travel guide, where we get to taste the famous Southern food.

Right now it is very very hot and humid, and you would think it is the perfect time for a cocktail but it is really not… especially with all the food that we are about to have (Shrimps&Grits, Crab Cake, fried grits and Charleston red rice)

I really feel like I need a nap now… but instead it is laundry time and then we can leave for Savanna.

It takes 2 hours and half, so we’ll be there by 8pm and tomorrow we’ll be exploring, what is considered by many, the most beautiful city in the States!
